City of Greenville issued the following announcement on April 15.

Progress at Unity Park this week!

The Swamp Rabbit Trail will soon run along both sides of the Reedy River.

Water jets were tested at the Greenville Water Splash Pad in the heart of the play area.

Construction is underway at Mayberry Field. The field won’t be completed by opening day on May 19 but it won’t be long before we’re ready to run the bases.

Landscaping and beautification will have the park looking fresh and springlike.
