On September 4, Timmons highlighted his engagement with military personnel stationed in Washington D.C., posting: “Proud to meet with members of the South Carolina National Guard serving in Washington, D.C. Thank you for your dedication to keeping our capital safe! “

William Timmons has represented South Carolina’s 4th District since replacing Trey Gowdy in 2019 and previously served in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville in 1984 and currently residing there at age 38, Timmons holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of South Carolina.
