Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his official Twitter account highlighting Labor Day celebrations and congressional efforts related to Jeffrey Epstein.

On September 1, 2025, Timmons posted a message recognizing the contributions of American workers: “Happy Labor Day!

Today we honor the hardworking men and women who keep our communities strong and our country thriving. Your dedication moves America forward and keeps the American dream alive.

Wishing everyone a safe and restful day with family and friends.”

Later that same day, he commented on a meeting involving House Republicans and survivors connected to Jeffrey Epstein: “I just met with @GOPoversight and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein.

House Republicans are committed to providing transparency for the American people and we will follow the facts wherever they lead.”

William Timmons has served in Congress since 2019 after succeeding Trey Gowdy as representative for South Carolina’s 4th district. Prior to his time in Congress, he was a member of the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville in 1984, Timmons holds degrees from George Washington University (BA) and the University of South Carolina (JD), reflecting his longstanding ties to both Greenville and public service.
