Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina’s 4th district since 2019 and a former member of the South Carolina Senate, shared his thoughts and updates on recent developments in his constituency via a series of tweets. Timmons, who succeeded Trey Gowdy, continues to engage with his followers by sharing local and national news on his social media accounts.

On April 27, 2025, Timmons announced the completion of a project concerning the display of presidential portraits. “48 hours later… the Trump administration portraits are up at @GSPAirport! We appreciate the swift response and look forward to seeing them on our travels to and from GSP.”

The following day on April 28, 2025, Timmons extended his congratulations to Bryan Stirling for his new appointment. “Congratulations to my friend @BryanStirling, on his swearing-in as U.S. Attorney for South Carolina. Well-deserved, Bryan- South Carolina is proud!”

On April 29, 2025, Timmons highlighted what he perceived as significant achievements of the Trump administration within its first 100 days. “In just 100 days, President Trump: Signed 5 bills into law to restore common-sense and reverse disastrous Biden era policies. Signed more than 140 Executive Actions. Reduced federal bureaucracy, saving taxpayers billions of dollars. Secured our border.”

William Timmons, aged 38, was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and continues to reside there. He is also an alumnus of George Washington University, where he completed his BA, and the University of South Carolina, from which he earned a JD.
