DJ Harvey, a former standout at Christ Church Episcopal High School, and his current college team, the Chicago Maroons, were defeated 81-73 by the Mary Washington Eagles in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Thursday, March 19.
The contest was held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum at 9 p.m.
Clark Akers and Ludvig Josefsson led Furman’s men’s golf team in their opening round at the Southern Conference Championship by tying for eleventh place individually. The Paladins are currently fifth overall heading into Tuesday’s second round.
Furman softball will close out its regular season this week with four away games against Georgia Tech and Chattanooga. The team looks to continue its positive momentum ahead of next month’s conference championship.
