The Furman University softball team will play six games this week, with four of them taking place at Pepsi Stadium during the 2026 Paladin Invitational.
Furman begins its schedule on Wednesday with a doubleheader against USC Upstate at Cyril Stadium in Spartanburg. The first game starts at 3 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+. Live statistics for both games can be accessed through the team’s schedule page.
The Paladin Invitational features five teams: Furman, George Mason, Seton Hall, West Georgia, and Winthrop. The tournament opens Friday with five games. Furman is set to play George Mason in the final game of the day at 6 p.m., which will also be broadcast on ESPN+. This matchup has been designated as Cowboy Night at Pepsi Stadium.
On Saturday, Furman faces Seton Hall at 9 a.m., followed by a game against West Georgia at 11:30 a.m. This marks the first meeting between Furman and West Georgia in softball. Three additional tournament games are scheduled later that day.
Sunday concludes the event with Seton Hall playing George Mason at 9:30 a.m., and Furman hosting Winthrop at noon. The contest between Furman and Winthrop will be notable as it is designated as Furman’s first hearing impaired game. There will be a special first-pitch ceremony before the game and a “silent inning” during play.
Live statistics for all 11 tournament games will be available online, while only Friday’s matchup between Furman and George Mason will have live video coverage on ESPN+.
Tournament organizers have listed all start times in Eastern Time, with home teams named first in each pairing.
