Furman’s men’s basketball game against UNC Greensboro has been rescheduled due to concerns about incoming severe weather. The matchup, which was initially planned for Saturday, will now take place on Friday, January 23, at 3 p.m. in Bodford Arena on the UNCG campus. Admission to the game will be free.

The announcement was made Wednesday afternoon as organizers sought to adjust plans in response to the weather forecast. Details regarding live streaming of the event have not yet been finalized but will be posted on the Furman men’s basketball schedule page once available.

Radio coverage of the game will feature Dan Scott and Tom Van Hoy calling the action. Fans can listen on The Fan Upstate at 97.7 FM and 1330 AM in Greenville, as well as 97.1 FM and 1490 AM in Spartanburg, or through the Audacy app. Broadcast links, live audio, and live statistics are set to be provided via FurmanPaladins.com.

Before traveling to Greensboro, Furman is scheduled to play The Citadel at McAlister Field House in Charleston on Wednesday night. Entering that contest, Furman holds a record of 13-6 overall and is 4-2 in Southern Conference play.
