Furman University’s women’s tennis team is set to host Mississippi State on Thursday at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, South Carolina. The match will begin at 1 p.m.

Furman enters the contest with a 3-2 record and has not played since January 30, when it lost 5-2 to Charlotte. In that match, freshmen Sasha Dimitrov and Bianca Ceroni earned singles victories at the fourth and fifth positions. Ceroni also paired with freshman Elle Warren for a doubles win at the number two spot.

Mississippi State comes into Thursday’s match undefeated this season, holding a 6-0 record after recent wins over Louisiana Tech and Bellarmine in Starkville. Earlier in the season, Mississippi State defeated Southern Conference opponent Samford by a score of 6-1.

The last time Furman and Mississippi State met was in Greenville in 2021, where Mississippi State won 6-1.
