Greenville County School District issued the following announcement on February 18.

We’re hiring great people for positions as bus drivers, bus aides, custodians, and food service personnel. Greenville County Schools will host an in-person Job Fair on Tuesday, March 1 from 5-7 pm at Chandler Creek Elementary School, 301 Chandler Road (Directions), Greer. Social distancing will be in place. If not fully vaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask.

New Pay Increases – Effective July 1, 2021

  • Bus Driver $16.57 – $20.23
  • Bus Aide $12.93 – $16.07
  • Custodian $12.93 – $15.04
  • Food Services $12.93 – $15.04

GREAT BENEFITS, including health and dental, retirement, sick leave, and free life insurance, are available for employees who work 30 or more hours per week. Training is provided.
