Senator Lindsey Graham, who represents South Carolina in the U.S. Senate, addressed several topics on his social media account this week, including crime, support for domestic manufacturing, and his legislative priorities if he assumes a future leadership role.

On May 14, 2026, Graham commented on a recent crime case involving Stephanie Minter: “Stephanie Minter was brutally murdered by an illegal immigrant with a rap sheet a mile long. This murderer should not have been in our country—let alone walking our streets. The prosecutor, Steve Descano, campaigned on a policy of making ‘charging and plea decisions that limit'”.

Later that day, Graham highlighted new legislative efforts aimed at bolstering American industry: “Graham Introduces Legislation That Supports South Carolina Textile Industry And Continues His Push To Buy American For too long, America-last policies have led to an over-reliance on other nations for essentials, including military clothing, putting our national security in”.

On May 15, 2026, Graham addressed his stance on potential future actions as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee: “I just want to make it clear to the people of South Carolina and the country that if I’m Chairman of the Judiciary Committee in 2027, the greatest hits of the radical left, like packing the Supreme Court, making DC and Puerto Rico states, and changing the Electoral College to”.

Graham’s public service background includes serving as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for over three decades and chairing the Senate Budget Committee (official website). He has represented South Carolina in the U.S. Senate after growing up in Central, South Carolina in a blue-collar family and earning undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina (official website).
