Senator Lindsey Graham posted a series of statements on October 6, 2025, addressing topics ranging from local engagement in South Carolina to international affairs concerning Israel and comments by Cardinal Parolin.

In his first post at 17:41 UTC, Graham wrote, “It was an honor to address the historic Poinsett Club in Greenville today. I am deeply grateful for your continued support. I’m also grateful for the opportunity to work with President Trump and his team to Make America Great Again — the best is yet to come!” The Poinsett Club is a well-known social club in Greenville, South Carolina.

Later that day, at 20:24 UTC, Graham commented on remarks made by Cardinal Pietro Parolin regarding the ongoing conflict involving Israel. He stated, “With all due respect to Cardinal Parolin, what is a proportional response against a group who openly calls for the destruction of your country and the elimination of your people from the planet? People like Cardinal Parolin obviously do not see Israel in a fight for its very”. Cardinal Parolin is recognized as the Vatican’s Secretary of State and has been involved in international discussions about Middle East peace efforts.

In his final tweet of the day at 22:19 UTC, Graham simply remarked, “This is chilling.”

Lindsey Graham serves as a United States Senator representing South Carolina. He has been known for his strong positions on foreign policy issues and close association with former President Donald Trump.
