Lindsey Graham, U.S. Senator from South Carolina, has made several statements on social media addressing international and domestic issues as well as sports events involving his home state.

On August 20, 2025, Graham commented on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, highlighting alleged actions by Russian forces. He stated, “During the course of the Russia-Ukraine war, Russia has kidnapped over 19,000 Ukrainian children. Stealing children from their home country is a despicable and barbaric act. As I have been saying since earlier this year, I intend to push legislation to designate Russia a state” (posted August 20, 2025).

Later that evening, Graham expressed enthusiasm for South Carolina’s performance in a baseball game. In his post he wrote: “You gotta believe! One of the most amazing comebacks I’ve ever seen. So proud of our South Carolina team for never giving up. What a terrific baseball game. Onto the next round!” (posted August 21, 2025).

On August 21, 2025, Graham addressed political opposition and campaign spending related to previous elections and judicial confirmations. He posted: “The Left is losing it…again. They spent over $130 million against me in 2020 because I helped confirm Kavanaugh, and I stand proudly with President Trump. Now they’re begging for cash because President Trump and I refuse to cave to their radical agenda.”

Senator Lindsey Graham has been an active participant in legislative efforts concerning foreign policy and judicial appointments. In past years he played a key role in confirming Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and has consistently voiced support for former President Donald Trump during periods of heightened partisan debate.
