Senator Lindsey Graham, who represents South Carolina in the U.S. Senate and serves as chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing issues ranging from international military cooperation to U.S. trade policy and diplomatic relations.
On February 19, 2026, Graham questioned reports about British cooperation with the United States regarding potential military action against Iran. He wrote, “If it turns out to be true that Britain is denying the United States the ability to use British bases against Iran if there is a necessity for an attack – it would be beyond surprising.

The following day, February 20, 2026, Graham described his meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman: “I just concluded a very friendly, extensive and consequential meeting with HRH the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman. I have come to know the Crown Prince over the last five years, and remain impressed by his vision for his country and the region. https://t.co/cEpCag10vb”.
Later on February 20, Graham commented on a court ruling related to tariffs imposed under U.S. law: “While I accept the Court’s ruling, I believe that @POTUS does have many options regarding keeping existing tariffs in place under authorities beyond the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). I support President Trump’s decision to fight refunds. I did not think”.
Graham has focused much of his career on national defense and fiscal responsibility as noted on his official website. First elected in 2002, he has held several leadership roles including chairing the Senate Budget Committee and releasing updated legislative text for border-security funding in June 2025. As a long-serving senator operating within the U.S. government structure, Graham continues to engage publicly on matters involving foreign policy and economic legislation.
