Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, recently addressed several topics in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.

On August 21, 2025, Graham commented on a high-profile legal decision involving former President Donald Trump. He wrote, “To my Democratic friends who yell about weaponization of the law: check this one out. I am very glad to see the New York Court of Appeals tossed out the outrageous verdict from a case brought by NY Attorney General Letitia James against President Trump and his business” (August 21, 2025). The case referenced was led by New York Attorney General Letitia James and resulted in a verdict that was later overturned by the New York Court of Appeals.

Later that evening, Graham posted support for an unspecified South Carolina team or individual following a recent loss. He stated, “Great run. You made South Carolina very proud. It was a tough loss but you have so much to be proud of. Get ‘em next time.” (August 22, 2025).

In another post early on August 22, Graham expressed gratitude toward the president for efforts to improve public safety in Washington D.C., writing: “Mr. President, thank you for bringing law and order back to DC and for having the backs of our police officers. I stand ready to give you the resources you need to finish the job and make DC safe again.” (August 22, 2025).

Lindsey Graham has served as U.S. Senator representing South Carolina since 2003 and is known for his outspoken positions on national legal issues and support for law enforcement initiatives.
