Lindsey Graham, U.S. Senator representing South Carolina and former chair of the Senate Budget Committee, voiced his opinions on federal court decisions and immigration policy in a series of posts on May 29 and 30, 2026.

On May 29, Graham posted about a recent court decision involving former President Trump: “When it comes to federal district court judges and President Trump, things are getting way out of control. I can’t believe a federal judge would deny President Trump — working with the Trump Kennedy Center Board — the ability to close the center for renovations. What a https://t.co/XLAwuA2R7t”.

The following day, Graham commented on sanctuary cities and enforcement of immigration laws: “Sanctuary Cities need to pay the price for protecting illegal alien criminals. I stand with DHS Secretary Mullin in fighting back against radical left Democrats who are trying to stop ICE and Border Patrol from doing their job and enforce federal law. Organized, paid”.

He further called for legislative action: “End sanctuary cities ! Pass the End Sanctuary Cities Act. https://t.co/MskCnlit4f”.

Graham has a long history of public service. He served as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for 33 years and obtained both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina (official website). Raised in Central, South Carolina in a blue-collar family, he has represented South Carolina in the U.S. Senate since 2003.
