Application Window
The GCS Magnet Academy application window for the 2023-2024 school year will open on Monday, November 14, 2022. Magnet applications will be available in “Parent Backpack.” For more information, visit the GCS Magnet Page.
Magnet applications will be available via GCS Parent Backpack during the application rounds listed below. Paper-based applications are available by request. Please visit the GCS Magnet Website for application directions and the Magnet Academy FAQs for information about how applications are scored and processed. Parents are encouraged to apply in the first application round as available space in magnet academies will fill up quickly.
Magnet Open House Events
Each magnet academy will conduct an open house event to explain the magnet application process and discuss the unique characteristics of its magnet program. The events will begin promptly at the start time listed on the flyer.
