Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.46 per gallon at one gas station in Greenville County during the week ending Jan. 10, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $2.82 per gallon.
Of the 229 reported gas stations located within Greenville County, 85 offered midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in South Carolina was $2.90, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
