On Saturday, December 17, join us in honoring Veterans with Wreaths Across America. We will be joining more than 2,500 other locations across the country for National Wreaths Across America Day. See below for more details:
The event will begin at the Mauldin Veterans Memorial at 11:00am, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at 11:30am at First Baptist Church of Mauldin Cemetery & Mauldin United Methodist Cemetery. The ceremony will conclude with a 30 second moment of silence, followed by the sounding of Taps.

11:30am - Mauldin United Methodist Cemetery (100 E. Butler Road)
Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization's mission - Remember, Honor, Teach - is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at Arlington, as well as at more than 2,500 veterans' cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and overseas.
