The Furman women’s golf team stands in second place after two rounds at the Valspar Augusta Invitational in Augusta, Georgia. Freshman Olivia Hasselbach leads her team individually while Missouri holds first place overall.
These former Greenville County area high school athletes will take part in events on Sunday, March 15.
Shae Insinga has been named Big South Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after leading Furman with standout performances in recent non-conference games. The graduate student scored 13 goals over three matches and helped send a game into overtime with a last-second goal.
