WH Trucking announced on Mar. 18 that it is recognizing Lynn Fore and Greg “Pops” Bagwell for their long-standing commitment to the trucking industry and the local community.

The recognition highlights the importance of experienced leadership in supporting both company growth and the broader transportation sector. Fore and Bagwell together have more than 65 years of combined experience, reflecting a significant contribution to trucking operations and mentorship within their teams.

Lynn Fore has worked in the trucking industry for 27 years. He joined RC Xpeditors in 1999 when it was a small operation based out of an apartment in Spartanburg, known as “the dungeon.” The business later became PTD, moving into a facility on Price House Road in Roebuck in 2003. In 2022, PTD was acquired by WH Trucking’s parent company, where Fore continues to share his expertise.

Greg “Pops” Bagwell began his career at age 18 as a night shift dispatcher for JP Stevens (later West Point Stevens) in 1979. Over his 25-year tenure there, he rose to Terminal Manager, overseeing drivers and warehouse operations. In 2001, he joined Thunderbolt Services to help expand its transportation division. When Thunderbolt was acquired by WH Trucking in 2019, Bagwell continued with the company and now serves as Team Lead for Local Drivers in the Regional/Over-the-Road Division.

According to WH Trucking, both leaders are valued for their knowledge and dedication: “Together, Lynn and Pops represent more than 65 years of combined dedication to trucking, leadership, and supporting drivers. WH Trucking is proud to celebrate their years of service and the lasting impact they have made on the company and the regional transportation community.”
