Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina’s 4th district, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing current issues ranging from local wildfires to national security. The tweets reflect his involvement in both local and national matters.

On March 24, 2025, Congressman Timmons addressed the ongoing wildfires in the Upstate region. He urged residents to exercise caution by avoiding certain highways and adhering to safety measures. “Wildfires are active in the Upsate, but crews are on it! Please stay safe: skip Hwy 11/276, honor the burn ban (no campfires!), and keep up with local news. Dial 911 if needed.”

In a tweet posted on March 25, 2025, Timmons defended Mike Waltz amidst criticisms directed at him. He commended Waltz’s service as National Security Advisor and expressed appreciation for his leadership during challenging times. “These attacks are ridiculous. Mike Waltz has been an outstanding National Security Advisor. His service to our nation and support of the President are commendable. We are fortunate to have his leadership in these critical times.”

Later that day, Timmons criticized what he described as efforts by left-wing media to undermine the achievements of the Trump administration regarding Houthi strikes. He praised former President Trump’s focus on national security for yielding positive outcomes. “Left wing media continues to search for any way to attack the Trump administration’s success, attempting to shift the narrative on the Houthi strikes which were successful under Trump’s strong leadership. President Trump’s focus on national security is delivering results.”
