In another statement dated February 5, 2025, Timmons addressed an issue of fraud he described as staggering. He highlighted it as “one of the largest thefts in American history” and advocated for legislative action by urging Congress to pass his bill, H.R. 324 – the PPP Shell Company Discovery Act. “The scale of this fraud is staggering—it represents one of the largest thefts in American history.
