Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 9, 2025, addressing crime and national events under President Trump.

On September 9, Timmons commented on public safety in Washington D.C., stating: “Democrats said D.C. was safe. Now they’re minimizing a horrific murder. These people will lie about anything to protect their narrative.”

Later that day, he referenced an incident in Charlotte involving cashless bail policies: “A young woman is DEAD in Charlotte because Democrats let a career criminal out on CASHLESS BAIL 14 TIMES. Her blood is on their hands. How many more innocent Americans have to die before Democrats wake up? Republicans will bring back LAW & ORDER!” (September 9, 2025).

In another post, Timmons highlighted major international events taking place in the United States during President Trump’s tenure: “Under President Trump, the USA is hosting: America250, our nation’s 250th birthday G20 Summit Summer Olympics (LA28) FIFA World Cup The world’s eyes are on the United States again because we are leading with strength! “ (September 9, 2025).
