Congressman William Timmons, who has been representing South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, shared his views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. The congressman, known for succeeding Trey Gowdy and previously serving in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018, expressed his opinions on various issues concerning national politics.

On July 3, 2025, Congressman Timmons criticized opposition to President Trump’s agenda by stating that “Wreck it Ralph would rather torpedo President Trump’s agenda than take a win for the American people. This isn’t fiscal responsibility — it’s political vanity.” He urged lawmakers to “Pass the bill.”

Later that day, he tweeted a pointed message directed at a fellow politician: “Good morning to everyone except Hakeem Jeffries.”

Continuing his critique of Hakeem Jeffries on July 3, Timmons commented on border security by tweeting that “The American people want border security, not another lecture from Hakeem Jeffries.” He concluded with the remark “Wrap it up.”

William Timmons was born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1984 and currently resides there. He graduated from George Washington University with a BA and earned a JD from the University of South Carolina.
