On February 14, Congressman Timmons expressed satisfaction with the week’s accomplishments. He praised Secretary Rollins for initiatives aimed at ensuring Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funds are allocated towards nutritious food to promote community health and growth. “By restricting these purchases, we are not just saving on healthcare costs but also investing in the long-term health of our communities.
