Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his meetings with local organizations and officials through a series of posts on social media.

On August 27, 2025, Timmons wrote about his engagement with credit union leaders: “Great discussion this morning with the Carolinas Credit Union League and Greenville FCU on how Congress can support credit unions in serving families and small businesses across South Carolina. https://t.co/3nfERznt5i”.

William Timmons has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Trey Gowdy. He previously held office in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1984, Timmons continues to reside there. He holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of South Carolina.
