Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on social media regarding his media appearances, political commentary, and recognition of colleagues.

On September 24, 2025, Timmons posted about a television appearance: “Great to join Mornings with Maria on @FoxBusiness this morning! We discussed the chances of a government shutdown, President Trump’s visit to the UN, why the Clarity Act is must-pass legislation, and more. Watch my remarks https://t.co/MF5yMVQTc2”

Two days later, on September 26, he congratulated a fellow conservative: “Congratulations to my friend @thecjpearson on being named to @WIRED’s Power List! Young conservative voices are shaping the political climate online, and CJ is leading the way for the future of our movement. https://t.co/SgjesfjIcb”

Later that same day, Timmons acknowledged state leadership in South Carolina: “Thank you, Governor @henrymcmaster, for your leadership and unwavering commitment to South Carolina. https://t.co/4rwfTnxqjJ”

William Timmons has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Trey Gowdy. He previously held office in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville in 1984 and currently residing there at age 38, Timmons holds degrees from George Washington University (BA) and the University of South Carolina (JD).
