Congressman William Timmons, currently representing South Carolina’s 4th district, shared several statements through Twitter over the course of two days. His posts reflected on political and industrial developments, including comparing two presidential tenures, discussing policy engagements, and celebrating a significant milestone in automotive manufacturing.

On April 29, 2025, Timmons expressed a comparative opinion on presidential achievements. He stated that “President Trump did more in just 100 days than Joe Biden did in four years.”

The following day, April 30, 2025, Timmons recounted a recent virtual meeting. He expressed excitement over engaging with constituents during a tele town hall, saying, “Thrilled to connect with 10,000+ engaged citizens at yesterday’s tele town hall! We tackled tough policy questions and discussed President Trump’s first 100 days in office! Grateful to everyone who participated- let’s keep the momentum going! “

Later the same day, Timmons congratulated a local automotive plant on a significant achievement. He announced, “Congratulations to @BMW’s Spartanburg Plant for assembling 7 MILLION vehicles! This historic milestone highlights the innovation, dedication, and economic impact of our district’s workforce. “ His acknowledgment of the industry underlines the economic contributions of South Carolina’s 4th district, which he has been representing since 2019, succeeding Trey Gowdy. Before his congressional tenure, Timmons served in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville in 1984, Timmons currently resides in his hometown and holds a BA from George Washington University and a JD from the University of South Carolina.
