Later that day at 20:20 UTC, Timmons tweeted about a recent event in Greenville where he engaged with local business leaders. He wrote, “Great day in Greenville! I was honored to speak with First Monday Republican Business Forum about the work we are doing for SC-4 and the importance of passing President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill.”

At 21:00 UTC on the same day, Timmons highlighted issues related to illegal immigration and crime. He noted that over half of those apprehended had criminal charges such as child molestation and drug trafficking. His tweet read, “Over half of these illegals had criminal charges, including child molestation, drug trafficking, and murder.” He advocated for increased resources for ICE operations and reiterated his call to pass “The One Big Beautiful Bill.”

William Timmons succeeded Trey Gowdy as representative of South Carolina’s 4th District in Congress after serving in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville in 1984, he holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of South Carolina.
