Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets in late February 2026 emphasizing themes of national pride and security.

On February 20, 2026, Timmons wrote, “ECONOMIC SECURITY IS NATIONAL SECURITY https://t.co/QZNdAeTojg”. Two days later, on February 22, he posted “USA USA USA!!! https://t.co/F9MDvsC4Us” and followed up with another message: “God bless Team USA!

William Timmons has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Trey Gowdy. He previously served in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1984, Timmons is a lifelong resident of the city and holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of South Carolina.
