On July 21, 2025, Timmons commented on immigration policy changes under the Biden-Harris administration. He wrote: “Last month, USBP released zero illegal aliens into the U.S. compared to 27,766 paroled by the Biden-Harris administration in June 2024. PROMISES MADE. PROMISES KEPT.”
The following day, July 22, he shared his experience attending a White House event marking a legislative milestone: “Honored to attend tonight’s reception at the @WhiteHouse celebrating the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill. William Timmons has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Trey Gowdy and previously held office in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1984 and currently residing there at age 38, Timmons holds degrees from George Washington University (BA) and the University of South Carolina (JD).
