Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media highlighting recent legislative efforts and policy developments related to health, privacy, and housing.
On August 4, 2025, Timmons referenced actions by President Trump and Secretary Rollins regarding public health initiatives: “First President Trump brought back fitness tests in schools. Now @SecRollins is banning junk food from SNAP. This is what putting America’s health first looks like.

Later that day, Timmons discussed his support for legislation aimed at protecting consumer privacy during home purchases: “Buying a home should not mean giving up your privacy. I am proud to cosponsor H.R. 2808—a commonsense, bipartisan bill to stop the flood of spam calls tied to mortgage applications.
Looking forward to President Trump signing it into law! https://t.co/zurPWGMsQm“
On August 5, 2025, he described a meeting with the National Apartment Association about innovative approaches to property use: “Great meeting with the National Apartment Association to talk innovative property use—like transforming old hotels into quality, market-rate housing.
Creative solutions like these are helping meet demand and revitalize communities. https://t.co/tFUf5n466Y“
