William Timmons has represented South Carolina’s 4th District since replacing Trey Gowdy in Congress in 2019. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born and raised in Greenville—the city where F-16 fighter jets are manufactured—Timmons is also an alumnus of George Washington University and holds a law degree from the University of South Carolina.
