Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media accounts to inform constituents about an upcoming telephone town hall and issue a heat advisory for his district.
On July 28, 2025, Timmons posted an invitation for residents to join him for a live telephone town hall scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 PM. He wrote, “Join me this Wednesday at 5:30 PM for a live telephone town hall! I will be answering your questions and giving updates on the work we are doing in Congress. Sign up to participate at the link below. https://t.co/FZjcw9eC1a”.
Later that same day, he issued a warning about extreme weather conditions in his district: ” Heat Advisory for #SC04 today — heat index could hit 110° in parts of the district. Stay safe: Drink water (do NOT wait until you’re thirsty) Limit outdoor activity mid-day Never leave pets in cars”.
On July 29, Timmons reminded constituents of the upcoming event with another post: “TOWNHALL: Join me tomorrow at 5:30 PM for a live telephone townhall! I will be answering your questions and giving updates on the work we are doing in the 119th Congress. Sign up to participate via the link below : https://t.co/FZjcw9eC1a https://t.co/fNFTadstN8”.
William Timmons has represented South Carolina’s 4th District since replacing Trey Gowdy in 2019 and previously served in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1984, Timmons holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of South Carolina and continues to reside in Greenville.
