Congressman William Timmons, who represents South Carolina’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his social media account on September 11, 2025, addressing recent political developments and reaffirming his commitment to core policy issues.

In a post made at 18:52 UTC, Timmons stated, “If their goal was to silence us, they failed. Our movement will not be intimidated. Stronger than ever before, we will fight for free speech, secure borders, and the America First values that Charlie Kirk inspired millions to defend.”

Later that evening at 20:12 UTC, he shared another message reading simply “GOOD RIDDANCE https://t.co/aJbSYwYdH7”.

At 20:32 UTC on the same day, Timmons commented on an education-related issue with the statement: ” FIRED! Radical politics in the classroom ends here. Teacher fired. Students protected. Accountability delivered.” He also tagged Fox Carolina News in this post.

William Timmons has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after succeeding Trey Gowdy and previously held office in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. Born in Greenville in 1984 and currently residing there, Timmons holds degrees from George Washington University and the University of South Carolina.
