William Timmons, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 4th district, recently shared multiple updates on social media. A congressman since 2019, Timmons has shown active engagement in both his constituents’ interests and national security matters.

On April 20, 2025, Timmons celebrated Easter by sharing a personal religious sentiment with his constituents. “The tomb is empty, Christ is alive! Happy Easter, South Carolina!” was his Easter message.

The following day, on April 21, 2025, Timmons visited the Spartanburg City Police Department. He met with Chief Alonso and his team to learn more about their cutting-edge crime fighting equipment. “Visited the Spartanburg City Police Department and met with Chief Alonso and deputies. They walked us through their cutting-edge real-time crime center, which incorporates cameras, drones, car cams, and body cams to provide real-time data to better serve the community.” Timmons expressed.

On April 22, 2025, Timmons reported a visit to the Pituffik Space Base in Greenland alongside a bipartisan congressional delegation. “Grateful for the opportunity to visit Pituffik Space Base in Greenland with a bipartisan congressional delegation. This vital northernmost U.S. military installation ensures missile defense, space surveillance, and early warning capabilities for our nation’s security.” he shared.

William Timmons has served in Congress since 2019, following a previous term in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018. A Greenville native, he is an alumnus of George Washington University and obtained a JD from the University of South Carolina.
