He wrote “Looking forward to attending President Trump’s joint address to Congress tonight at 9pm et! Livestream will be available online at https://t.co/xbc7E6TKRF.”

Later that day, he shared details of his media engagements prior to the presidential address. In a tweet from March 4, 2025, he stated “Just wrapped up my interviews with several local and national media outlets ahead of @POTUS’s joint address to Congress tonight. President Trump did more for this country in 44 days than Biden did in 4 years! This is the renewal of the American dream! “

In a subsequent message on March 5, 2025, Congressman Timmons reiterated his support for an “America First” agenda by posting “AMERICA FIRST! It’s time for big dreams and bold action! “
