Of the 5,152 people living in Travelers Rest in 2019, 56.2 percent (2,897) were women and 43.8 percent (2,255) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Greenville Leader.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,517-to-1,224. In the 65 and over age range, there were 562 females and 181 males.
