Greenville County Parks, Recreation & Tourism recently issued the following announcement.
Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center is offering Greenville Rec’s first Dual Slalom Race Series. The Dual Slalom Series in Pleasant Ridge County Park will feature an old school race format in which two riders will compete against each other to see who can make it down the dual slalom first. Riders will race another rider from within their category twice, once on each side of the track. In the event that each rider wins one run, the rider with fastest time on a designated lane will advance. Racing will continue until there is a winner for each category.
Riders have the option to register for one race for $20 or register for all three races for $50. Series registration and Race 1 registration will close on September 9th at 11:59 pm, Race 2 registration will close on September 30th at 11:59 pm, and Race 3 registration will close on November 4th at 11:59 pm. There will not be any day of registration.

Racing will end when we have a winner for each race category. Awards will be given out as soon as racing ends.
