A building once used for bottling pop will soon become a focal point for Overbrook Village in Greenville with plans to transform it into a seafood restaurant operated by the owners of The Anchorage, a popular eatery in West Greenville.
The new restaurant, appropriately called Mr. Crisp, will take shape inside the former Lime Cola bottling plant and feature a signature menu of fish and chips plus offer a full raw bar, The Post and Courier reported.
It's expected to open early next year and takes Greg McPhee, Anchorage owner and chef, back to his roots since he spent the early years of his career working in Toronto.
"We're excited to finally be able to announce this new concept," McPhee said in a press release to the The Post and Courier. "This has been a dream for nearly four years, and we couldn't be happier with the location and talent we have for this project."
According to the The Post and Courier, fresh seafood will be brought in from the coast with other options including vegan and non-seafood dishes.
Anchorage Executive Chef Alex Morgan moved to Greenville from the New England coastal city of Portland, Maine, three years ago, and will lead the kitchen at the new restaurant, The Post and Courier reported.
