The Greenville Symphony Orchestra is excited to share with the community the 2021 virtual Children’s Concert called Maestro Builds the Orchestra.
The concert features music by Mozart, Williams and Dvorak. GSO welcomed guest artist Jonathan Swensen in Dvorak's Cello Concerto.
Teachers are invited to visit the GSO’s Teacher Resource Page where one can learn more about symphonic music and the symphony orchestra by following our Four Steps.
After viewing the Children’s Concert, students are invited to submit a listening journal/picture. We will select our favorite and give the student two complimentary tickets to a masterworks or chamber performance of their choice.
The Greenville Symphony has scheduled this weekend a Holiday at Peace. WSPA TV’s Jamarcus Gaston hosts a program filled with holiday favorites, including music from “The Nutcracker” and “Frozen.” Special guests include international ballet performers, acclaimed soprano and South Carolina native Karen Parks and Santa himself.
