Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina's 4th district since 2019, recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his stance on justice for victims of illegal immigration, media integrity concerning former President Trump, and support for legislation aimed at dismantling diversity programs.

On November 20, 2024, Congressman Timmons expressed that a significant step toward justice for Laken Riley has been made. He emphasized that "justice for all Americans who tragically lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens comes on January 20, 2025."

Later the same day, Timmons criticized mainstream media in another tweet. He stated that "The mainstream media’s been caught lying AGAIN about President Trump." This comment was in response to an incident involving a FEMA employee allegedly fired for not assisting hurricane victims displaying Trump signs.

In a subsequent post on November 20, 2024, Timmons declared his support for H.R. 8706, known as the Dismantle DEI Act. He announced its progression through committee stages by stating "It sure is. Which is why today I supported H.R. 8706, the Dismantle DEI Act, and it cleared @GOPoversight committee." The act seeks to eliminate authorizations and funding for federal government diversity programs.
