Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina’s 4th district since 2019, recently shared his views on fiscal responsibility and business regulation through a series of tweets. Known for his commitment to economic issues, Timmons has been vocal about the national debt and regulatory challenges faced by small businesses.

On March 25, 2025, Congressman Timmons addressed the issue of national debt and deficit in a tweet. He stated: "We are $36 trillion in debt with a $1.8 trillion dollar deficit. We must cut all nonsense now! @DOGECommittee’s third official hearing will tackle taxpayer funded media this Wednesday at 10 am."

Later that day, he highlighted the obstacles small businesses face due to government regulations. In another tweet posted on March 25, he said: "Government red tape is holding back small businesses from securing funding and expanding. Republicans on the @FinancialCmte are tackling this issue with plans to boost job creation and support American entrepreneurs." A live stream link was also provided for further engagement.

In a subsequent post on March 25, Congressman Timmons expressed enthusiasm about participating in an upcoming event focused on blockchain technology. He tweeted: "Proud to join the DC Blockchain Summit tomorrow. With 20+ members of Congress & senior officials, I will continue to advocate for innovation & support President Trump’s goal to make the U.S. the crypto capital."
