On January 22, 2025, Timmons tweeted that "President Trump has done more for the American people in 48 hours than Joe Biden did in four years." This statement reflects his perspective on the effectiveness of Trump's leadership compared to that of President Biden.

Later that day, he posted another tweet highlighting specific achievements by Trump: "President Trump has already dismantled DEI government-wide AND united Congress to protect Americans from criminal illegal aliens.
