Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina’s 4th district, has recently shared his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Timmons, who succeeded Trey Gowdy in Congress in 2019 and previously served in the South Carolina Senate, continues to be an active voice on social media.

On January 23, 2025, Congressman Timmons expressed his stance regarding a congressional vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. He stated that "Congress just voted on whether a living, breathing baby who survives abortion is entitled to basic medical care. This should not be a controversial issue. However, only ONE Democrat voted in favor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection act." Timmons voiced pride in supporting this legislation.

The following day, January 24, 2025, Timmons acknowledged former President Donald Trump's visit to North Carolina amid severe flooding. He noted: "Grateful to see President Trump on the ground in North Carolina today, offering support and leadership to those impacted by the disastrous floods. It’s in times like these that strong, decisive action makes all the difference." The congressman emphasized an "America first" approach.

Later that same day, Congressman Timmons addressed concerns over politically motivated debanking practices. He tweeted: "Politically motivated debanking is unacceptable. With Chairman Comer at the helm, @GOPoversight will uncover the exact number of Conservatives who were debanked." He also thanked Dr. John Eastman for highlighting issues within the financial sector and mentioned ongoing investigations by GOP oversight.
