Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina's 4th district since 2019, has recently shared his views on several issues via social media. Timmons, who succeeded Trey Gowdy and previously served in the South Carolina Senate from 2016 to 2018, expressed his stance on fiscal policy, local economic developments, and international relations.

On February 12, 2025, Congressman Timmons addressed his colleagues across party lines regarding fiscal responsibility. He urged them to "stop filing lawsuit after lawsuit" and emphasized the necessity of addressing the nation's financial challenges. He stated that if they do not want to assist in "righting the fiscal ship," they should step aside "To my colleagues across the aisle, if you do not want to help right the fiscal ship in this country, get out of the way."

Later that day, Timmons announced a significant economic development for Greenville County. Isuzu North America Corporation selected the area as its new production base in the United States. The company plans to invest $280 million into a production facility on Augusta Road "Today, Isuzu North America Corporation announced its selection of Greenville County as its new production base in the United States."

In another tweet posted on February 12, Timmons expressed approval of current U.S. foreign policy efforts. He appreciated having a president focused on ending wars rather than initiating them "It’s great to have a President that is ending wars instead of starting them."
