On Wednesday, March 19, former Riverside High School standout Julen Iturbe’s current collegiate team the American Eagles lost 83-72 against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UD Arena, this was the first game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers during the championship.

Julen Iturbe’s hometown is Greenville and game position is forward.
