Bon Secours issued the following announcement on November 25.
Employees from Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital wore purple in honor of World Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day and to celebrate longtime friend and former colleague Vicki Hogge, RN, SCRN.
Hogge, pictured center in the purple wig, retired from RGH in July 2020 to begin her brave fight against a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Hogge, surrounded by her care team, friends, and family members, enthusiastically displays the poster presented to her by her colleagues as they stand in solidarity with her and others.
