Congressman William Timmons, representing South Carolina’s 4th district, has recently shared a trio of tweets addressing various issues. His posts touch on matters of fiscal prudence, a personal tragedy, and economic progress under the current administration, reflecting his stance on these significant topics.

In a tweet dated April 3, 2025, Timmons emphasized the urgency of rectifying financial inefficiencies within government operations. "We must go beyond talk and demand immediate action: sell unused properties, terminate leases, slash maintenance costs, and end the $40B/year drain. No more half-measures—bulldoze the bloat." He tagged the Twitter accounts of the Department of Government Oversight and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene in the message.

On April 4, 2025, Congressman Timmons expressed his grief over the death of Nate Baker, a 21-year-old student from the University of South Carolina, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident. Timmons conveyed his sorrow, stating "I am devastated to learn of Nate Baker’s passing..." He reported that the accident was caused by an individual driving illegally without a license.

That same day, Timmons commended the economic achievements under the "America First" agenda, highlighting growth in the job market. Timmons stated, "Another win for @POTUS’s America First agenda... The economy added 228,000 new jobs last month." His tweet underscores the impact of what he views as successful pro-growth policies under President Trump's leadership.
