Greenville County SC issued the following announcement on July 12.
Starting in February, Litter Ends Here volunteer Alison Rauch began separating the cans from litter as a way to fundraise for Make-A-Wish SC.
The Spinning Jenny, Greer Relief’s Zymurgy, Freedom Blast, NGU Greer and friends/co-workers have joined the effort. In all 42 bags of cans have been collected and around 13 of those bags are solely cans from the side of the roads that she collected during volunteer litter cleanups.
Alison embodies the true spirit of volunteerism and we are so proud of her efforts.
